Originally from Michigan, Jeremy began his work in the outdoors, working in direct student care for the outdoor behavioral health care industry. He has served as a member of the development teams for leading therapeutic programs and boarding schools in the Berkshires, northern Vermont, Utah, Arizona, and Costa Rica, and has worked in education, school leadership, and behavioral health care hospital administration at a national level. Jeremy has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Biology from Northern Arizona University.  

Retired from work in schools, Jeremy now lives in Western Massachusetts, with his wife Laura (herself a School Nurse in a boarding school) and his two amazing kids – both of whom were day students at the school where their mom works.  Jeremy is a Partner in The Bertram Group, an educational consulting firm which supports searches for schools, colleges, and graduate schools, and also provides career and life coaching, as well as placement for therapeutic services.
